"Families Singing for Families"

On Saturday, July 9, 2011, the Music Together Princeton Lab School and Music Together LLC will host two benefit concerts for the victims of the Japanese earthquake/tsunami and the tornadoes that devastated the Southern United States. The shows will take place at 10:30 AM and 1 PM at Music Together’s international headquarters, 225 Hopewell-Pennington Road in Hopewell, NJ.
"Families Singing for Families" will feature Music Together staff and teachers singing favorite Music Together songs, and a special guest appearance by recording artist Gerry Dignan. "Uncle" Gerry is featured on the CDs given to the thousands of families worldwide who take Music Together classes.
All local families are invited to come and join us as we raise our voices in song to help those in need. Suggested donation is $10 per person or $25 per family, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to helping families recover from these tragedies. Tickets are for sale at www.musictogetherprinceton.com .
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement curriculum for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. Originally offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.
Music Together classes are held in more than 2,000 communities around the world. Classes are offered throughout the greater Princeton area by the Music Together Princeton Lab School. For more information, visit www.musictogetherprinceton.com
