Mrs. Gerardo, 81, of Howell, formerly of Freehold, died June 9, 2011. She graduated with a nursing degree and was employed by the New York City Department of Health for 25 years prior to retiring. Mrs. Gerardo was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Raphael J. Gerardo. Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Josephine and John Buglino of Old Bridge, Anita and Charles Mullen of Freehold, Michele and Michael Cordaro of Howell, and Dorothy and Paul DeVitto of Freehold; and eight grandchildren. A committal service and entombment were held at the Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel. Arrangements were by the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
