Mr. Cahill, 84, a lifelong resident of Keyport, died June 23, 2011, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. A veteran of the U.S. Navy duringWorldWar II, he worked as a flooring installer with Seacoast in Keyport. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Keyport. Mr. Cahill was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn, in 2006; and his siblings, John, William, Thomas and Pierre Cahill, Elizabeth Tibbets, Margaret Osborne and Mary Cahill. Surviving are his children, Arthur J. Cahill III and his wife, Rose, of Colts Neck, Beth Ellen Freirich and her husband, Jeffrey, of Keyport, Tim Cahill and his wife, Joanne, of Hazlet and Shawn Cahill of Hazlet; a brother, James Cahill, of Keyport; three sisters, Loretta Armstrong of Keyport, Patty Ragner and Jewel Morin, both of California; 11 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph Church. Interment followed at the parish cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements were by the Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
