The annual OceanFirst Bank calendar contest is under way and photographers are invited to submit original local photographs to be displayed in the bank’s 2012 community calendar.
More than 12,000 calendars will be distributed to OceanFirst customers and the general public throughout Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex counties. Recognition will be awarded to each photographer featured in the calendar, along with a small byline that includes artist information.
Suggested themes include seasonal scenes of familiar local landmarks, beaches, oceans or lakes in Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex counties. Photos will be judged on composition, quality and suitability.
Photographers can submit their original work via mail to OceanFirst Bank, Marketing Department/Calendar Contest, 975 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753, on disk or dropped off. A signed official entry form must accompany all photos, which can be downloaded from www.oceanfirst.com or requested via email at [email protected]. Tasti D-Lite, a lower-calorie frozen dessert chain, is continuing to spread outside of its Manhattan core. A new location will open in Morganville this summer. It will be New Jersey’s fifth Tasti D-Lite location. Manalapan residents Debbie and Mike Schreiber are the owners of the new center, which is currently under construction and expected to open in July. For the past 19 years, Mike has owned and operated A+ Products Inc., a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of standard and custom metal and plastic hardware. Debbie runs a party planning business, My Party Bus. Tasti D-Lite launched its franchise program in 2008. The Jewish Federation of Monmouth County has named Keith Krivitzky as its executive director.
“We are very excited about Keith’s arrival. He brings a lot of thought leadership on the challenges of building Jewish community to Monmouth County,” said Joseph Hollander, president of the Jewish Federation of Monmouth County.
Krivitzky has been the vice president of the Center for Jewish Philanthropy at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle for the past three years.
Prior to his role in Seattle, Krivitzky worked for the Hillel International Center as associate director of development, director of Hillel’s Taglit-Birthright Israel trips and director of development of Hillel’s international programs. Krivitzky will begin his new position with the Jewish Federation of Monmouth County in August.
