While recent years have found most New Jersey residents distraught and filled with uncertainty, we finally have something to laugh about.
It seems state Senate President Steve Sweeney thought he was brilliant enough make a deal with the devil and somehow not get burned.
Sen. Sweeney’s (recent) rant shows what a colossal idiot he is. He knew very well how Gov. Chris Christie stole the votes of policemen, firemen and teachers by swearing that he would never alter or change their pension system.
Simply put, Sen. Sweeney knew that Gov. Christie is a liar and a fraud. I guess Sen. Sweeney thought he was smarter than the middle class. Now Sen. Sweeney is outraged. He refers to the governor as “a bully and a punk,” “a bank robber shooting people” and (other names). He says he wanted “to punch Christie in the head.”
The irony is in the fact that this is how the 750,000 families of New Jersey government workers and retirees feel about Sen. Sweeney.
Sen. Sweeney says he “went to bed furious and woke up even angrier.”
Well, Sen. Sweeney, the night that the Senate initiated the demise of public employees’ retirement plans, over one million residents went to bed furious and woke up panic-stricken about their future.
Sen. Sweeney says that “the governor shouldn’t be vindictive and punish innocent people.”
Well Sen. Sweeney, you should not punish innocent people for your own personal agenda.
You are not a leader, you are obviously not a very good deal maker and you are not as smart as you think. Your pathetic whining will not get you sympathy from the voters.
