Mrs. Kalman, 89, of Freehold, formerly of Monroe, died June 23, 2011, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She had worked as a receptionist for Dr. Bodian, an ophthalmologist, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1995. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Mel Schneiderman of Marlboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Sondra Kalman of Manchester; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were at the Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
