Mrs. Burgess, 81, of East Brunswick, died June 25, 2011, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, Morgan Lorenzo Burgess Sr. Surviving are two sons, LeRoy Jackson Burgess of the Bronx, N.Y., and Morgan Burgess of East Brunswick; five daughters, Sherril Jackson of East Brunswick, Patricia Jackson and Renee Jackson, both of the Bronx, Andrina Jackson of New York City and Mellenie Burgess of East Windsor; three brothers, Walter Bell Jr., and his wife, Rose, of Davie, Fla., Augustus Bell, and his wife, Anne, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Erwin Bell of the Iselin section of Woodbridge; two sisters, Margaret Holder of Long Island, N.Y., and Juanita Plumber of North Babylon, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services were held at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
