‘Mao’s Last Dancer’ coming to film fest

The Summer International Film Festival at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, will continue on Aug. 2 with 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. screenings of “Mao’s Last Dancer,” a 2009 film from Australia.

The movie, rated PG, tells the true story of Chinese ballet dancer Li Cunxin who defects to the United States.

Admission is free of charge. Reservations are not required.

Remaining festival films are:

 “TheWay Home,” a PG-rated 2002 drama from South Korea, Aug. 9;

 “The Concert,” a PG-rated 2009 comedy from France and Russia, Aug. 16.

The festival is sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library.
