STOCKTON: Bike-a-thon to benefit Lambertville Food Pantry

STOCKTON — An event to help raise funds for the Lambertville Food Pantry will be held Aug. 7.
The Stockton Presbyterian Church is hosting the third annual Stockton Bike-a-thon, which will begin at 3 p.m.
”We will leave from the Stockton Presbyterian Church parking lot,” said a spokesman.
Participants will ride along the towpath from Stockton Presbyterian Church, 22 S. Main St., to the parking lot behind the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum, located off Route 29, just north of Lambertville.
   Walkers also are welcome.
One hundred percent of the money raised will go to the Lambertville Food Pantry, which is hosted on the campus of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church.
”We have raised over $500 both years we’ve had this event. This year, our goal is $1,000. Come enjoy a fun afternoon out on behalf of a great cause,” said the spokesman.
Checks may be made out to Stockton Presbyterian Church. Include “Bike-a-thon” in the memo line.
Signed release forms are required for all participants. The release forms, along with a sponsor form, can be downloaded from http://stocktonpresbyterian.org.
