Temple Beth Ahm Pre-K recognized

ABERDEEN — The Temple Beth Ahm Preschool has won a gold award from the Solomon Schechter Awards Committee of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

Amy Naphtali, preschool director, was notified June 29 that the preschool program, Tu B’Shevat Experience, will be honored at the USCJ convention in San Diego in December.

The Tu B’Shevat Experience was a morning consisting of eight stations that children traveled through. Some of the stations included tasting, recycling, creating bird feeders, creating planters from recycled newspapers and planting seeds in them, almond tree pictures, “planting” trees in Israel, and a few others.
