The Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will present “How to Understand and Protect Your Credit Score” at 8 a.m. Aug. 16. The presentation will be hosted by the GMCC Women in Business Committee and facilitated by Randi Gosselin, a certified credit counselor for NOVADEBT, a Garden State Consumer Credit Counseling Organization. Points discussed will include: most important items consumers need to be aware of to protect their credit score, recent changes to credit limits, what is the best way to safely request reports, how to review reports and request corrections. iPlay America and Encore Event Center, a new entertainment and event concept taking shape in Freehold Township, will hold job fairsAug. 12-13 andAug. 26-27 at the facility at the corner of Schanck Road and Route 9 south. Amin Gomaa, Freehold, has joined the engineering firm of French and Parrello Associates, Wall Township, as its sixth Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional.

LEED is the benchmark the government uses to ensure architects, engineers and builders are employing a green-building design and technology standard that is expected to preserve the earth for future generations.

Before joining French and Parrello, Gomaa, an electrical engineer, worked in power distribution design, photovoltaic solar systems design, sustainable design and project cost estimation, among other areas, in the United States and internationally.

Heart Specialists of New Jersey has relocated its office to the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus at CentraState Medical Center, 901 W. Main St., Freehold Township. Heart Specialists of New Jersey is staffed by five board-certified physicians and an adult nurse practitioner.
