Savor New Hope & Showcase the Arts is a featured event at the New Hope Arts Center since 2004. This year the weekend of September 9-11 will culminate in a gala evening event featuring more than 20 local restaurants, chefs and the culinary artists coupled with exhibitions and entertainment. Savor will be held on Sunday, September 11 from 6-9 pm. New Hope Arts Center is hosting the event on Stockton Avenue closed to traffic for evening.
The culinary contributions of outstanding area restaurants include our longtime supporter, Jim Hamilton, who is featured on this year’s poster. Hamilton’s Grill in Lambertville along with other New Hope, Lambertville, and areas restaurants graciously offer an exciting menu of specialities du maison in support of New Hope Arts. The fundraiser is a sumptuous sampler of local cuisine to the delight of members, guest and attendees. Get you tickets early.
Savor New Hope tickets are available by calling New Hope Arts or visiting our websitewww.newhopearts.org. The price per ticket is $40 in advance or $50 at the door and includes dinner, wine and live entertainment on Sunday evening as well as the reception for Deux Grande Dames on Friday evening from 6-8 pm. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will be donated to the Eagle Fire Company, New Hope in remembrance of 9/11/2001
Our featured exhibition, Deux Grande Dames, will be open to the public that evening for viewing. This exhibition of the art work by Dee Rosenwald and Dorothy Grider, two long-time New Hope residents who are over ninety, will be open through the month of September, showcasing the historic art community of New Hope.
