WCTC 1450-AM recently announced its schedule of Sept. 11 coverage to mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
During her “Life Advice” program beginning at 6 a.m., Jennifer Lewis Hall will speak with a 9/11 survivor who wrote a book and to Shari Burkat, who runs the 9/11 support organization Voices of 9/11, which has a chapter in New Brunswick.
Jack Ellery’s 7-10 a.m. show will feature an Ellery interview with Tom Kean, the former New Jersey governor who co-chaired the 9/11 Commission. Lori Van Auken, who lost her husband in the World Trade Center attacks and later became an advocate on Capitol Hill for widows’ and widowers’ benefit rights, also will be a guest on the program. In addition, Ellery will interview first responder John Lattanzio, a former New York City police officer who lost 35 colleagues in the collapse of the Twin Towers.
Bert Baron will be live from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the historic Barron Arts Center, Woodbridge, where the exhibit “Creative Responses to September 11th” will be unveiled. Baron also will have interviews with talk-show hosts Laura Ingraham and Mancow, as well as WCTC’s Alan David Stein, who covered ground zero for weeks after the 9/11 attacks.
