“Summer Day” by Robert Grunke Sandy Hook forms the backdrop for an exhibit by local artists Vicky Culver and Robert Grunke, who have teamed up once again to present “Around and About.”
From photo collages by Culver, of Howell, to local and urban scenes by Grunke, of Matawan, the works highlight what we see daily and walk right past without really stopping to notice — the beauty and shapes surrounding us. The show runs from Sept. 4 through Oct. 30 at the Lighthouse Keeper’s Quarters on Sandy Hook, 84 Mercer Road, beneath the Sandy Hook Lighthouse on Fort Hancock.
An opening reception will be held on Sept. 17, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
