Two River Community Bank, Middletown, has announced its 2011 Summer Intern Program participants: Sam Smyth from Christian Brothers Academy, Joel Diamond from Red Bank Regional High School and Haley Peckman from Wall Township High School earned positions in the program.
In addition, three of the bank’s previous interns, Liam Ayres, John Kenny and Kevin Zajack, returned this summer. They are all former students from the Red Bank Regional High School Academy of Finance.
Two River Community Bank began its Internship Program in 2008 with the intention of providing a challenging and educational experience for students so that they may obtain the business insight they need to successfully make a career decision. Each intern is given the opportunity to work in various departments, such as loan operations, accounting, human resources, compliance, branch operations and marketing, giving them the ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s operations.
In its third successful year, the program has expanded and is now available for the first time to Wall Township High School and Christian Brothers Academy students.
Two River Community Bank is headquartered in Middletown and operates 15 branch locations in Monmouth and Union counties.
