Mrs. Mitchell, 90, of Freehold, formerly of Farmingdale, died Aug. 11, 2011, at Monmouth Crossing, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her sister, Jessie Bergstom of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale, followed by interment in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.
