Bike New York’s season-ending 10th annual Twin Lights Ride will have more than 2,000 cyclists pedaling through Monmouth County on Sept. 25.

Highlights of the Twin Lights Ride presented by the Jamaica Tourist Board include stunning views of grassy horse farms and lush woodlands on each route, as well as beautiful ocean panoramas on longer routes (75 and 100 miles).

“With a gentle terrain and four mileage options, from30 to 100, the Twin Lights Ride is a great choice for cyclists of all levels, whether they are planning a fun family outing or a challenging century,” said Ken Podziba, president and CEO of Bike New York, in a press release. “We have a lot of fun in store for the 10th anniversary of Twin Lights, one of our most popular regional rides.”

The ride will begin and conclude at Huddy Park in the Highlands and will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Optional group rides, optional ferry transportation, well-marked routes, fully stocked rest areas, excellent SAG (support and gear) service, a post-ride festival with live entertainment and fresh, local seafood for sale, and free T-shirts are also in store for Twin Lights participants.

Surfers from all over the world are coming to the Jersey Shore for the Foster’s Belmar Pro event, which will run from Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 15-18. The recently relaunched website, www.Belmarpro.com, featuring the live webcast, will bring a new dynamic to the Belmar Pro, elevating the visibility of the athletes, the sponsors, the sport, and the town of Belmar like never before.

The Foster’s Belmar Pro is an incredible opportunity for local surf stars to take on top talent in their own backyard.
