Mayor Janice Mironov will discuss “Women in Politics” at the BUNWC Tri-County Chapter of the Brandeis National Committee meeting scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Robbinsville library, 42 Robbinsville-Allentown Road, Robbinsville.
Mironov is a private practice attorney and longtime mayor of East Windsor who has been involved in New Jersey politics for many years.
As part of its community service project, BUNWC will be collecting canned goods and nonperishable foods items for its annual holiday basket donation to HomeFront, a charitable organization in Trenton. Members and guests are encouraged to bring the food items to this open meeting as well as the October and November open meetings.
Among the activities scheduled for the fall will be several foreign films of social significance, book club discussions, as well as trips to the New York FineArt andAntique Dealers Show and a cemetery visit and ghost tour of Princeton.
