When I am driving my Honda Civic at night in Princeton Borough and Township it is very common for me to see people riding their bicycles.
In my opinion it is extremely important that the Princeton Borough Council and Princeton Township Committee enact an ordinance that requires anyone riding a bicycle in any part of Princeton to wear a helmet, have reflective clothing on, or have some type of lighting attached to their clothing.
I am very worried that some time in the future a person riding a bicycle in any part of Princeton might suffer a serious injury.
If anyone who is reading my letter-to-the-editor agrees with what I am saying I urge those individuals to contact a member of the Princeton Borough Council or Princeton Township Committee.
