Millstone Twp. Foundation for Education Execellence announces club, executive board

Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence (MTFEE) — a nonprofit organization devoted to funding extraordinary educational experiences for Millstone’s public school students — has announced the launch of its 180-Day Club for the upcoming school year.

The 180-Day Club asks for contributions of $1 a day for each of the 180 days of school and extraordinary learning. Families who contribute will have their name displayed on an acorn. The acorns will be hung on the MTFEE-oak tree murals that are being displayed in the lobbies of the Primary, Elementary and Middle schools.

As a special thank you, MTFEE is providing donors who contribute this year, an MTFEE/180 Day Club car magnet that reflects the organization’s new branding.

To date, MTFEE raised $12,960 through the campaign. The organization is independent from the school district and replenishes its grant fund exclusively through private donations and MTFEE fundraising efforts. Since 2002, the foundation has awarded more than $410,000 in grants to Millstone Township schools.

In addition, MTFEE has announced its executive board. It includes: Nicole Pyhel, president and information officer; Christine Alves, vice president; Coleen Raccuglia, treasurer; Janice Weiss, recording secretary; and Michele Stillwell, corresponding secretary
