Sept. programs at L.B. library

LONG BRANCH — The Long Branch Library is offering the following programs:

Toddler Time is held at the main library every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and at the Elberon Branch every Friday at 10 a.m.

Story times for school-aged children are held at the main library Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. and at the Elberon Branch every Wednesday at 4:45 p.m.

Families can also stop in at the main library every Saturday for the Family Fun program, anytime from noon to 5 p.m.

The Children’s Book Club meets the 2nd Monday of every month at 6 p.m.

The next Family FilmDay will feature “Thor” (PG-13), 2 p.m. Sept. 24

Teens can hang out during Teen Tech Time 4-5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday( bring your school ID).

The library has been hosting a free yoga class which will continue through September. Classes are held every Wednesday at 6 p.m. The instructor will lead participants through the Level 1 Posture Series and important breathing exercises of the Dharma Yoga Basics I Course. No registration is necessary, but please bring a yoga mat or towel.

“Ace Your Next Job Interview” with Barry Cohen, postponed due to the hurricane, has been rescheduled to noon Sept. 24, at the main library. Cohen will teach how to answer the seven most difficult interview questions, control the interview, negotiate a higher salary, and more.

Every Monday a movie will be screened. All movies will be shown on Mondays at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Only patrons aged 18 and over will be admitted to any films rated R. Bring dinner or a snack. The next movie will be “The Street Stops Here” (NR) on Sept. 26.
