WEST WINDSOR The West Windsor Arts Center will be celebrating its one-year anniversary with the public.
The event will be free from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at 952 Alexander Road in the former Princeton Junction Firehouse, now the Arts Center.
”The birthday celebration will be a day of fun and an opportunity for the West Windsor Arts Council to say thank you to all who have supported us,” said K. Kalawar, office manager at the West Windsor Arts Center.
There will be workshops and activities for all ages. From painting to yoga, to learning how to dance, there will be things to do for the family, according to Ms. Kalawar.
”They will have an opportunity to take part in several mini-workshops and get a taste of the different quality classes that we offer,” Ms. Kalawar said.
The center offers workshops, classes, performances, exhibitions and literary arts events. According to its website, the West Windsor Arts Council provides professional quality community arts programming in order to support, educate, inspire, and promote the arts and art appreciation.
”The West Windsor Arts Council has accomplished staying true to its mission in its first year of operation,” Ms. Kalawar said.
The arts center welcomes over 1,000 people every month of all ages, according to Ms. Kalawar.
