Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung will hold its annual Open House on Sunday, October 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. All seventh and eighth grade girls and their families are invited to attend. Formal presentations will take place at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Open House is an opportunity for prospective families to learn more about what makes the Mount one of the top all-girls high schools in New Jersey. Attendees will take guided tours through the school’s campus; meet with faculty, administration, and students; and receive information regarding the school’s academic, athletic, and extra-curricular offerings. The Mount’s 80-acre, fully wired campus includes high tech science labs, a state-of-the-art library-media center, and new track and field complex.
The Mount’s students come from eight counties in 80 different New Jersey communities. One hundred percent of Mount students are accepted to college and in 2011, students attended schools including Brown University, Duke University, Harvard University, and Georgetown University.
Registration is now open for the Mount’s entrance exam scheduled for Saturday, November 5.
