The Give Back Foundation will hold its annual gift auction on Oct. 1 at the New Egypt Elks Lodge, 105 Lakewood Ave., New Egypt. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the drawing will begin at 7:30 p.m. The ticket price is $10. Proceeds will be used to assist residents of Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex, Burlington and Ocean counties who are facing life-altering circumstances such as job loss, chronic illness, disability, terminal illness and family crisis. A Family Fun Day for families in the community, hosted by Bartley Healthcare, will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 1 (rain date Oct. 2) at its campus on the corner of North County Line and Bartley roads, Jackson. The event is free, but guests are asked to bring a bag of nonperishable food items or to make a monetary donation to benefit the Jackson Food Pantry.
