The Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, will host “Learn to Speak Robot” at 1 p.m. Oct. 8. Attendees will learn to speak the language (syntax) and learn how to make robots understand what they mean (semantics) to solve the “Blind Bot’s Bluff” maze challenge. Here they will have to navigate the robot through minefields of robot-swallowing holes. This program is free and open to the public. Register in person, by phone at 732-928-4400 or online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org.
