Mrs. Kwitkoski, 66, of Sayreville, died Oct. 5, 2011, at home. Prior to her retirement in 2000, she was employed as a secretary for 17 years with the Sayreville Board of Education. Before that, she worked as a secretary for 10 years with the borough of Sayreville clerk’s office. Her husband, John C. Kwitkoski, died in May. She also was predeceased by her parents, Ferdinand and Mary Szczepanik; and by a brother, Richard Szczepanik. Surviving are two children and their spouses, John and Meredith Kwitkoski and Dawn and Christopher Carey; a brother, Fred Szczepanik, and his wife, MaryAnn, of Sayreville; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery Endowment Fund or to the Sayreville Police Benevolent Association (PBA).
