Mr. Coulter, 73, of Freehold Township, died Oct. 12, 2011. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a double engineering degree in electrical and electronics engineering and worked for Texas Instruments, retiring in 1995. Mr. Coulter served as a third class petty officer in the U.S. Navy as a navigator and computer engineer, stationed at Point Mugu Naval Weapons Station, Point Mugu, Calif., during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Suzy; a son, John Scott Coulter, and his wife, Niguer, of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; a daughter, Jessica Stefany Coulter of Glenwood Landing, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Hope Lutheran Church, Freehold Township. Interment was private. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
