The 26th annual Athena Award luncheon hosted by the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will be held on Nov. 4 at 11:30 a.m. at the Battleground Country Club in Manalapan.
The international Athena Award recognizes an individual for business or professional accomplishments, for community service, and especially for mentoring others and providing a role model to encourage women to achieve their full leadership potential. The Greater Monmouth Chamber is the only organization in New Jersey that sponsors the Athena awards recognition program.
The selection of the 2011 honoree will be announced at the conclusion of the luncheon. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased by contacting the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce at 732- 462-3030.
