The Lambertville area is under a "Winter Storm Warning" for 2 to 6 inches of heavy snow with winds of 15 to 25 MPH with gusts to 30 mph. With the leaves still on trees, power outages are possible.
In a telephone conference call with the president of Jersey Central Power & Light Company, he stressed the importance of calling the automated outage hotline if you do lose power and cautioned safety around downed lines. If you lose power it is IMPORTANT to report your outage to JCP&L by calling 1-888-544-4877 (1-888-LIGHTSS).
The City of Lambertville Office of Emergency Management will continue to follow the situation and provide updates as necessary.
