For the second year, the Meetinghouse of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County in Lincroft will be transformed into a celebration of fine art. Filling the Earth Room and the Community Room will be original artwork by more than 20 local artists and artisans in a broad spectrum of disciplines including painting, photography, pottery, jewelry and mixed media.
Juror for this year’s Autumn Art Festival is John Salvi, Monmouth Beach artist, printmaker and photographer.
UUCMC member Angie Morfogen, Colts Neck, is the guiding force and coordinator of the arts festival.
The festival will feature many returning artists as well as exhibitors new to the festival this year. Among them are Vicki Culver, Howell, original photography and photographic collages; Betty Rogers, Red Bank, photography; Florrie Hill, Keyport, paintings and photographs; and Morfogen, silver jewelry and pottery masks.
Those who attend the show and sale will have the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their work. The colorful and original artwork will be on display and for sale at the UUCMC Meetinghouse, 1475 West Front St., Lincroft, on Nov. 12 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be available in the Arts Café.
