The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore is looking for volunteers to help its more than 15,000 Girl Scouts throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties achieve their dreams. Volunteers are the backbone of the Girl Scout movement and key to the delivery of the Girl Scout program. As mentors to girls, they inspire, motivate and are instrumental in helping girls build selfesteem and leadership skills for the future.
Recognizing the busy schedules many adults face today, Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore provides flexible options that enable volunteers to pick the roles and activities that are of most interest to them through long-term, short-term and one-time opportunities. Short-term or one-time volunteers can facilitate a program or welcome girls into their business for a real-world learning experience, while long-term volunteers can lead a multi-week program or offer to lead a troop for the Girl Scout year.
