Mr. Panza, 69, of Jackson and Miami, Fla., died Nov. 9, 2011. He was president of A. Panza & Sons Ltd., Edison, for more than 40 years and was well known as an innovator in the ice cream industry. He was predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine Panza. Surviving are his wife, Maureen Fromm; his mother, Frances Panza; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Keith Pedersen; three grandchildren; and a brother, Vito Panza. A funeral service was held at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson, followed by a private cremation.
