Mrs. Opdyke, 47, of Jackson, died Nov. 10, 2011, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. For the past seven years, she was employed as the cafeteria manager for Maschio’s Food Service at St. Aloysius School in Jackson. Surviving are her husband of 22 years, James Roy Opdyke; a daughter, Jessica Rae Opdyke; a son, James Roy Opdyke; her parents, John and Rosemarie DiStefano of Jackson; four sisters, Toni Ann Cannavo of Jackson, Diane Moir of Beachwood, Patti Ann Weg of Toms River, and Laurie Ann Connell of Jackson; a brother, John M. DiStefano of Toms River; her father-in-law, LeRoy Opdyke of Whiting; a sister-in-law, Debra Buono and her husband, Louis, of Brick; a brother-in-law, Christopher Opdyke and his wife, Caryn, of Manchester; and a brother-inlaw, Gerard Opdyke and his companion, Diane, of Brick. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by entombment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lakewood. Arrangements were by the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
