Mr. Areizaga, 49, of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge, died Dec. 4, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. He was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident of Port Reading, where he was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church. He also attended the Second Home adult day-care program in Perth Amboy. Surviving are his parents, Elmer and Catalina Cruz Areizaga of Port Reading; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Michele and Ron Schendorf of the Fords section of Woodbridge and Darlene Bunca of Franklin Park; two brothers, Michael Areizaga of Rahway and Raymond Areizaga of Jackson; three nephews; and two great-nieces. Arrangements were by the Costello- Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. Anthony’s Church, Port Reading section of Woodbridge. Entombment was at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, 436 Port Reading Ave., Port Reading, NJ 07064.
