Mrs. Goodman, 98, of Monroe, formerly of Highland Park, died Dec. 6, 2011, in Piscataway. She worked for many years in the family paint and wallpaper business, W. Berman & Co., which was established by her father. She was predeceased by her husband, Nathan Goodman; three brothers, Morris, Joseph and Irving Berman; and two sisters, Shirley Blitzer and Minnie “Peggy” Feldman. Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis Taft of Upper Freehold; two sons, Harvey Goodman, and his wife, Joan, of Stamford, Conn., and Marv Goodman, and his wife, Harriet, of Milltown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were held at Highland Park Conservative Temple. Arrangements were under the direction of Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
