Mrs. Brown, 87, of Monroe, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Dec. 22, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to retiring in 1991, she was employed for 20 years as a secretary for the National State Bank, Perth Amboy. She also worked for the Dance Carousel, Spotswood, which is owned by Mrs. Brown’s daughter. She was predeceased by a sister, Florence Kubrak. Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Arthur R. Brown; a daughter, Jeanne Kane and her husband, Kenneth, of Monroe; a son, Gary, and his wife, Dorothy, of Matawan; four sisters, Myrtle Grinis of California, Ruth Hahnenman and Mildred Hettinger, both of Toms River, and Marian Weimer of Harrison; two brothers, Nicolas Mueller of Georgia and Elbert Mueller of Toms River; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Bernadette Church, Parlin. Burial was in the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. Arrangements were by the Lester Memorial Home, Jamesburg.
