Israeli dancing
is fun, exercise
   Thursday, Jan. 12 — Anna Paun will lead Israeli folk dancing from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Temple Beth-El, 67 Route 206. Lessons and refreshments. It’s exercise and fun. Suggested donation of $7.
Two schools’ guards
to perform in show
   Friday, Jan. 13 — Hillsborough High School’s Winterguard precision marching group will perform in a “Spin Festival” from 5.30 to 9 p.m. in the Commons of the high school on Raider Boulevard.
   Two Hillsborough Winterguards and the Bridgewater Winterguard will premiere their shows. Afterwards, guests young and old are invited to join guard members from both schools and try their hand at spinning flags. Guard members will be available to provide one-on-one instruction for a $10 donation.
Free rabies shots
for dogs and cats
   Saturday, Jan. 14 — Free township rabies clinic for cats and dogs, 10 a.m. to noon at Department of Public Works, 21 East Mountain Road. No registration necessary. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in secure carrier. Call Health Department at 908-369-5652.
College will hold
information session
   Tuesday, Jan. 17 — Raritan Valley Community College will hold a community information session from 5-7 p.m. at the township library, 379 South Branch Road.
Program to describe
Attracting wildlife
   Thursday, Jan. 26 — The Neshanic Garden Club will hold its regular monthly meeting at 9:45 a.m. at the Station House on Olive Street, Neshanic Station. At 11 a.m. “Attracting Bees, Butterflies and Wildlife,” will be presented by Michael Pollock of the N.J. Audubon Society. Bring a bag lunch and a mug; beverages and desserts will be provided. Prospective members are encouraged to attend. For information, contact club president Janet Gibson at 908-359-0176.
Continuing events
   Alzheimer’s support group — The Alzheimer’s Association has a support group in Hillsborough. Family members and caregivers come together to share information and support in a safe, confidential atmosphere.
   Meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. in the sunroom at Emeritus Senior Living, 600 Auten Road. Call 431-1300 if attending.
