PRINCETON: ‘Logical Miracles’ of good nutrition

Princeton Public Library will host a book launch for “Logical Miracles,” a collection of stories by people in the Suppers program who found solutions to their personal challenges through whole food, on Thursday, Jan. 12.
The book was edited by Dorothy Mullen.
In a nonjudgmental environment, participants in Suppers programs “cook, taste, and feel their way to health” and forge new friendships based on healthy living. For five years, pilot Suppers groups have been helping people with a range of food- related challenges, especially people with depression, anxiety, learning issues, obesity, diabetes and problems with alcohol.
The free and open-to-the- public event also will feature tasting samples of the transformative foods, such as, the breakfast chili that reportedly ends cravings; the beet slaw known to be irresistible to children, and the lentils that allegedly save lives.
The library is in the Sands Library Building at 65 Witherspoon St.. On the Web: www.princetonlibrary.orgwww.TheSuppersPrograms.org.
