Mrs. Silvanovich, 97, of South River, died Dec. 29, 2011, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander Silvanovich, and by a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Fred Martin. Surviving are a daughter, Olga Tomory, and her husband, Robert, of South River; two sisters, Helen Sosnowski and Nancy Balon; a brother, Michael Chomzuk; three grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. A service was held at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
