Mrs. Pateman, 81, of Spotswood, formerly of South River, died Dec. 28, 2011, at home. Prior to retiring in 1983, she was a factory worker at American Reese, Englishtown, for five years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Hermanski, in 1983; a son, Wayne Hermanski; and a stepson, Gene Pateman. Surviving are her husband, George Pateman; a son and daughterin law, Eugene and Donna Hermanski of Englishtown; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Nick Newinski of Freehold; four stepsons, George Pateman and his wife, Irene, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, Mark Pateman and his wife, Brenda, of Somerville, Michael Pateman of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, and Raymond Pateman and his wife, Lynn, of Jackson; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a step-greatgrandson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, followed by interment at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
