Mr. Bernicker, 83, of Jackson, formerly of Parlin, died Dec. 24, 2011, at Care One at Jackson. He was employed as an insurance agent for the Leo Calmenson Company in New York City and was a member of the Wendell Willkie Lodge, Knights of Pythias, for over 50 years. Surviving are his wife, Arlene Greenberg Bernicker; a daughter, Judi B. Cusumano of Sewell; two sons, Michael S. Bernicker of Jackson and Gregg Bernicker of Marlboro; a brother, Leonard Bernicker, of Farmingdale, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, followed by interment at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Fairview. Memorial donations may be made to the American HeartAssociation.
