Mrs. Fitzpatrick, 79, of Marlboro, and a former resident of Hazlet for 39 years, died Dec. 27, 2011, at home. She retired from Brookdale Community College and was a Monmouth County committeewoman. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Eugene, and a son, Kevin Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her children, Mary Karp and her husband, Scott, Jean Rodriguez and her husband, Ruben, Neal Fitzpatrick, Terence Fitzpatrick and Timothy Fitzpatrick; a sister, Patricia Sullivan; and 13 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Keyport. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements were under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
