A choir leads the crowd in song during Sunday’s celebration to honor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at New Hope Baptist Church in Metuchen. The event, sponsored by local civic and religious organizations, was themed “The New Birth of Dreamers — Come Dream With Us,” and concluded with a breakfast event at the Pines Manor in Edison on Monday.
