Black History Month recognized at BCC

Brookdale Community College kicks off February as Black History Month on Jan. 26 with a special presentation 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. by authors Anne Farrow, Joel Lang and Jennifer Frank, the authors of “Complicity: How the North Promoted, Prolonged and Profited From Slavery.” The book includes brand-new research by Farrow, and questions on the topic will be taken from the audience. The event is open to the community.

The presentation is free and co-sponsored by Brookdale Community College Student Life and Activities and the college’s History and Political Science Club, and is also in conjunction with the Diversity Committee of the College Governance system. The presentation will be held in the Main Academic North (MAN) building in room 103. MAN is located near the Bankier Library.
