Cops & Rodders car show back on track

Registration for vehicles, vendors, sponsors under way

NORTH BRUNSWICK — Registration is under way for the annual Cops & Rodders car show in North Brunswick.

After a two-year hiatus, the show will return onApril 29 at the DeVry University parking lot off Route 1. Anyone looking to showcase their car, truck, motorcycle or specialty vehicle can visit the website NBTPBA160.com for an application form. Vendors and sponsors are also needed.

Retired Patrolman Michael Grasso Jr. initiated the show about 18 years ago. North Brunswick PBALocal 160 has reinstituted the show this year, and Grasso’s son Joseph, also a township officer, and Patrolman Dave Varga, will be organizing the events.

Though details are still in the works, there are usually children’s activities, emergency vehicle displays, musical entertainment, food vendors and trophy presentations throughout the afternoon.

The event is free for spectators.
