Reader: Same-sex marriage bill should not be a priority for N.J.

Senate President [Stephen] Sweeney and Assembly Speaker [Sheila] Oliver said their “signature initiative” for 2012 would be the oxymoron bill, same-sex marriage.

One has to wonder about the mental health of our legislators’ ability to prioritize New Jersey’s needs. Marriage, since the dawn of history, has been between a man and a woman. A few genderconfused folks want to amend normalcy into some sort of current politically correct rights. The residents of New Jersey deserve better than this waste of time.
