Mercer County Community College Offers Contractor Training

West Windsor, NJ:  New Jersey contractors are invited to register for the EPA Model Renovator Certification training.  Mercer County Community College is offering the Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RPP) Program and NJ DCA Rules and Regulations at a one-day class on March 13 at the college’s West Windsor campus, at 1200 Old Trenton Road.
Course content includes NJ DCA rules and regulations, lead based paint health concerns, planning the job, lead dust containment, cleaning, training, non-certified renovation workers, hands-on training, and recordkeeping.
Upon successful completion of the course and exam, students will earn the following certifications:
                        • NJ DCA Rules & Regulations Certificate
                        • EPA Model Renovator Initial Certificate
The NJ Department of Community Affairs is subsidizing the classes. The tuition charge, including textbooks and materials, is $99.
