The N.J. Central District Elks will conduct its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony 10 a.m. Jan. 28 at the Menlo Park Veterans Home in Edison. All are welcome to attend the ceremony, which retires tattered and worn American flags with dignity and honor.
Worn flags can be brought to local Elks lodges in Colonia, Carteret, East Brunswick, Edison, Metuchen, New Brunswick, Piscataway, Plainfield, South Amboy, South Plainfield and Woodbridge. For further information, call Barbara Muller at 732-690-3871.
