Board member Judith Haas said she made the discovery of the translation feature, tried it and found it amusing.
The European languages of Spanish, French, Italian, German, Italian and Portuguese, plus Russian, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, the Indian languages of Gujarti and Hindi, simplified and traditional Chinese, and Urdu, the official language of Pakistan.
She said she discovered the German word for “district” was “Bezirk.” Although not spelled the same as the English “berserk,” she found it made her smile when she read “the district Board of Education” as “Bezirk Board of Education.”
