MANVILLE: K-9 dog will be at senior center this week

   Except for holidays, the Manville Senior Center on South Third Avenue is open and fully functioning.
   The Manville Recreation Department leads lightweight exercise on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15–10:45 a.m., and “walk and chair” exercise on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30 a.m. Exercise classes with Lynn at $10 each run from September to June.
   Bingo is played every Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. Birthdays are recognized on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
   The center’s hours are 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Its phone is 908-526-0175.
   Meals need to be ordered a day in advance, before 10:30 a.m. The suggested donation is $1.50 for those 60 and older.
   Manville is one of seven centers operated by Somerset County; it is accessible to individuals with disabilities. The center offers activities for adults 60 and older.
